100 años de la teoría de la relatividad general./100 years of the Theory of Genral Relativity

La teoría de la relatividad general fue una teoría formulada por Albert Einstein en 1915, en la que introdujo el principio de equivalencia,la noción de la curvatura del espacio-tiempo y el principio de covariancia generalizado.

Gracias a esta teoría tenemos cosas en la actualidad como los GPS, ya que sin ella los satélites adelantarían su hora respecto con la de la Tierra y nos darían posiciones equivocadas.

Creemos que está teoría marcó un antes y después en la ciencia, y, que probablemente, sea la teoría física más importante de todos los tiempos. Por eso en este centenario de la teoría, desde Chandrasekhara's blog os invitamos a que investiguéis sobre ella y prestéis atención a los actos que promocionaremos más adelante.

The theory of General Relativity was a theory made by Albert Einstein in 1915, in which introduced the principle of equivalence, the notion of the curvature of the space-time and the principle of the generalized covariance.

Thanks to this theory we have now things like GPS, because without theory of general relativity the satellites would advance its time relative to the Earth and they would give us wrong positions.

We believe that this theory changed the science and that it's the most important physical theory of the story of the science. For that reason in this centenary  of the theory, from Chandrasekhara´s blog we invite us to research about it and to pay attention to the events that we will promote later.
